The Office of Internal Communications helps all employees to know that they are an integral part of an amazing place to work. The goal of internal communications is to engage employees so that they better understand the direction of the University in the context of its mission; that their work is valued; that their needs and concerns are heard and shared; and that the campus is a lively and vibrant place to work.
The Office of Internal Communications works closely with the following offices on campus to disseminate timely and relevant information among all Notre Dame employees:
- Executive Vice President
- Human Resources
- Information Technologies (OIT)
The office oversees the following communications vehicles for disseminating information to the campus community about services and initiatives that affect work life at Notre Dame.
NDWorks, the faculty/staff newspaper, is published 10 times per year. Deadlines for submission are 10 business days before publication. For more information or to submit a story idea, contact managing editor Carol Bradley at 631-0445 or email@example.com.
TheWeek@ND is a weekly email, sent on Mondays, to all employees describing events, activities, deals and discounts for that week. A student version of TheWeek@ND also goes to students when school is in session. To place a notice in TheWeek, please send your event/activity to TheWeek@ND (firstname.lastname@example.org) by noon Thursday for inclusion in the following week’s newsletter.
